2009 Reggie in Review Part 3

I traveled to JuFen with Nathan and the crew for the 10/10 holiday weekend. It such a cool place, but we got completely rained out. I chickened out of climbing the over 2,000 feet mountain. I gave a brief speech and served as a host to a group of British educators visiting my school. The month ended with me receiving two sets of bad news: my cousin Carl and Grandma Helen both passed within weeks apart. Sadden and devastated, I travelled home to be with my family during our hour of need. Thanks Grandma for 82 years of your life. May you both rest in peace. Thanks to the Graduate School, International Institute for making my trip possible. Your understanding and support was a blessing. Also, thanks to TECRO for your support.

I attended a Thanksgiving dinner sponsored by the American Institute in Taiwan for Fulbrighters in the area in November.

December, I returned to Kaohsiung to hang out with Melissa and the girls, and I did the same for Christmas in Taipei with the same crew. Not much for Christmas celebrating in this country. But, I did have a several invites to events thanks to Tony, Joe, Lillian, and the Hsinchu foreigners. You guys are so great to me. New Year’s Eve plans got ruined due to my phone crashing. So I had dinner at KFC and when home. In this age of time, I don’t remember number so I could call anyone or be reached.

I wish you many blessings in the 2010 Year. May God continue to be a blessing!!! Please feel free to write, call, visit, as your schedule permits. No. 98 Jhohgyang Road
Chubei City, Hsinchu County, 30252, Taiwan, ROC!!

Cheers,
